Assistance League Thrift Shop was awarded the Environmental Award of Excellence from the City of Lafayette. The award was in recognition of the Thrift Shop’s success in promoting reusing and repurposing clothing, books, housewares, and other items to keep them out of the waste stream.  The event occurred at the City Council Meeting, April 22.

Assistance League Diablo Valley was awarded the winner of the Partners in Educational Excellence Award at the 2024 Administrator of the Year Awards Dinner. Congratulations go out to all the Operation School Bell Programs, Clothing, Listen, R.E.A.D, Elementary Arts, Kids on the Block, and Sunshine Boxes.
